TOKSPORT was established in 2003. After many years of experiences at Works Teams, three young men decided to set up their own Team. Serkan Duru, Emre Toksoz and Seyhun Duru started TOKSPORT with the aim of serving competitors, winning class preparation and flawless service opportunities.
To reach that aim, TOKSPORT has set new standarts up for the upcoming season. Objectives for that aim were clear, open and straight to target. The season of 2004 many competitors and as well as a Manufacturer realised that these standarts were applied to many needs they had. HyundaiAssan – Hyundai Factory in Turkiye – made a season long contract with TOKSPORT and gave the whole responsibility to run the Team. This contract had included preparing 2 MSD made Hyundai Accent WRCs, running the cars and even the whole logistics. TOKSPORT's detailed and timed job has resulted on a success. On the second year with Hyundai, the Team became 2nd on the Manufacturers Championship and 2nd on Drivers Championship. Besides the Works Team, TOKSPORT had run more than 5 independent rally crews each year.
After the success of 2004 and 2005 and Hyundai's farewell to the stages, in the year 2006, 9 independent crews had applied to the team. TOKSPORT decided to compete at Team's Championship and ran 9 rally cars all through the season. When the season was over, name of the Champion was apparent: TOKSPORT.
Following season, in 2007, one of the biggest BMW dealers in Turkiye, Kosifler had a contract with TOKSPORT to run two 3.20's at the Turkish Touring Car Championship. After a harsh season and hardcore competition, the Team had the title. Team was champion again and also had the 3rd place with the second car.
BMW's main importer Borusan Oto, wanted to sustain this success and with a brave desicion, they applied to WTCC. Once again, TOKSPORT was responsible for almost everything. Fort he first time, all-Turkish Team was competing at the world's top class racing arena. Turquoise blue BMW 3.20 is stil running at the WTCC rounds and gaining experiences for the following season.
