Turkish Rally Championship has reached to its end on last weekend. Kocaeli Rally has organized by KOSDER and the crews passed 101 Km long 6 gravel stages.

Reigning Super1600 Champion Daghan Unludogan and his co-driver Ahmet Sami Can drove a Toksport made Mitsubishi Evo9. Daghan has rallied only at the season opener Istnbul Rally in May and became 3rd after Solowow and Avci. Due to his work schedule, he couldn’t make it to attend in full season.

Daghan and Ahmet started with 2nd best time at the first stage which was a 2 Km. long Super Special and was live on TV.

On Sunday morning, the duo started with a best time and took the lead. Their strongest rival and this years champion Yagiz Avci had to face technical problems after 3rd stage. When he broke his exhaust manifold, Yagiz started to loose power and this resulted him to drop from competition.

When the teams arrived on 5th stage, Daghan was leading the rally with more than 1 minute, so in order to secure his victory he decided to take it easy. Despite that Daghan timed 2nd and 3rd best times on penultimate and the last stages.

Mustafa Soylemez on his Toksport made Evo9, had a flat tire at the opening stage on Sunday morning. This cost them more than 6 minutes and drop down on the classification. But the survived and climed up to 4th overall.

When crews reached to last service, TOKSPORT Team was so excited and celebrated their victory.
