The team is celebrating its 6th title after Mustafa Soylemez and his codriver Cem Bakancocuklari won the İstanbul Local Rally Championship. Mustafa, on his Toksport made Evo9’s wheel, forced the 3rd round of the series and after harsh competition he won the last round and as well as the title with only 1,8 seconds ahaed of his rival Guven Bostanci.

Toksport’s title hunt started with Tolga Cilingir’s National Hill Climb win and carried on with BMW’s on two group championships.

In year 2009, Toksport grabbed the titles on:

Turkish AutoCross Championship – Category 4 – Unal Senbahar – Mitsubishi EVO9

The Team also helped Borusan Automotive Motorsports to win the teams cup for Turkish Touring Car Championship for 2009. Toksport was not only a nationwide motorsports garage, but also an international service provider for competitive championships, such as FIA Middle East Rally Championship. Meshal and Essam Al Nejadi drove 2 EVO9 all through the season and their cars were prepared and run by Toksport.

We had a really tight programme for all through the season but at the end of it, we are so proud to reach 6 national and local titles. Well, actually this is not the end but just the beginning, we already working so hard for the upcoming season and our limit is high to beat in 2010.”

The team is packing up for Qatar Rally nowadays to start the season. Opening Round of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship will be organized in Qatar next weekend and Toksport again will be backing up Essam Al Nejadi for his EVO9.
